Itinerary
Sunday, June 28
OsloA slow Sunday in the capital. Walk Vigeland Sculpture Park, then loop back through Aker Brygge for coffee. In the evening, stop by the lobby bar at Amerikalinjen for a drink before dinner.
Monday, June 29
OsloVisit the Munch Museum and the National Museum. Have lunch in Grünerløkka, then keep the rest of the day open for a fjord-side walk or a quiet evening back at the hotel.
Tuesday, June 30
BergenBoard the morning Bergen Railway from Oslo. The seven-hour ride crosses the Hardangervidda plateau. Check into Bergen Børs and take an evening walk along Bryggen.
Wednesday, July 1
BergenRide the Fløibanen funicular up Mount Fløyen for a view over the city and the fjords. Wander the Bryggen warehouses, then settle in for a late seafood lunch.
Thursday, July 2
AurlandTravel down to the Sørfjorden by ferry and bus, then check into 292 Aurland. The rest of the day is for the balcony, the fjord light, and an early night.
Friday, July 3
HardangerMorning walk or kayak on the Aurlandsfjorden. After lunch, continue to the Hardangerfjord and check into Heit Sørfjorden. Use the sauna and cold plunge before dinner.
Saturday, July 4
HardangerA full day in Hardanger. Drive the fruit trail past Lofthus and Ullensvang, or hike to a viewpoint above the fjord. Return to Heit for a slow evening.
Sunday, July 5
StockholmFly from Bergen to Stockholm. Check into Ett Hem and spend the evening getting lost in Gamla Stan's cobblestone lanes.
Monday, July 6
StockholmMorning at Bergianska Trädgården, then cross Djurgården for an afternoon at Moderna Museet. Dinner in Östermalm.
Tuesday, July 7
StockholmStart at ArkDes on Skeppsholmen, then walk through the city center. The rest of the afternoon is open for the Vasa Museum or a long fika.
Wednesday, July 8
CopenhagenTake a morning train or a short flight to Copenhagen. Check into The Audo in Christianshavn. Walk the canals and have dinner in Nørrebro.
Thursday, July 9
CopenhagenA long morning at Aire Ancient Baths in the old Carlsberg district. Afterward, stroll Nyhavn and the design shops along Bredgade.
Friday, July 10
CopenhagenOne last coffee and pastry in Copenhagen. Pack slowly, then head to the airport for the departure flight.
